My Life
Journalism
As a journalist, I have reported from some of the most challenging regions in the world, covering conflicts and humanitarian crises in Syria, Libya, Turkey, and Lebanon. My work earned national recognition in 2014 with the TEFI award for professionalism in journalism. I have extensive experience in delivering high-impact stories that bring attention to global issues, particularly those related to conflict, displacement, and human suffering.
With 7 years of living and working in London, I have extensive experience collaborating with international organisations, including working for a company based in another country.
I have been accredited with the Council of Europe and PACE, gaining in-depth knowledge of their operations and media protocols. My background in journalism has equipped me with the ability to navigate sensitive environments, establish trust with sources, and tell stories that resonate on an international scale.
Social Media
In the digital space, I have built a successful Instagram blog with over 25,000 followers, blending traditional journalism with cutting-edge social media strategies. My approach to content creation focuses on engaging narratives that drive interaction and foster community. I led a talented team to grow the blog’s presence, leveraging data-driven strategies and a deep understanding of audience behavior.
In addition to Instagram, I have extensive experience managing digital engagement across platforms, helping organisations optimise their online presence. From creating impactful social media campaigns to developing comprehensive digital strategies, I bring a multifaceted approach to digital communication that boosts visibility and enhances engagement.
Sport and...
In addition to my media experience, I am a certified fitness trainer, with a focus on physiology and nutrition. I am passionate about leading an active, healthy lifestyle, having completed three marathons and ten half-marathons. My fitness journey, from 92kg to a stable 79-80kg (height 178cm), underscores my dedication to personal well-being and discipline.
After that I transitioned into the charitable sector to seek more meaningful work. Currently, I am a support worker at the Red Cross, assisting individuals after hospital treatment.
This role allows me to not only make a tangible difference in people's lives but also to immerse myself in the organisation, gaining firsthand experience and understanding of how we can better serve vulnerable people.
