My Craft – Storytelling Social Media & Making an Impact

I’ve spent my career making sense of chaos—whether it was breaking news from across the world or building digital communities that actually engage people. 20 years in media, reporting from global hotspots, chasing political storms, and turning complex events into stories that matter. The last eight years in the UK have taught me how to bring those same storytelling skills into social media, content strategy, and digital advocacy.

In January 2025, I became a Social Media Manager for Enabled2Parents, a charity helping parents with disabilities. For me, social media isn’t just about catchy posts—it’s about giving people a voice, creating conversations that matter, and making a real difference.

Alongside this, I also work as a Support Worker at the British Red Cross, providing direct support to those in need. It’s a role that gives me a sense of fulfillment, but I see it as a stepping stone—a valuable chapter in my journey toward creating even greater impact through media and digital strategy.
